Dear Partner & Friend,

Before I became a Christian, my life was geared around drugs. I bought and sold drugs, and then became a heavy drug user myself. I became the one thing I had feared most—a serious junkie. But from childhood I had felt like something was missing from my life. And the more drugs I used, the more I could escape…at least for a little while…that empty and hurting feeling.

So I started using more and more, moving up to cocaine and then eventually heroin. I was trying to find a temporary fix for a permanent problem…but it didn’t work.

I was lying on the floor near death from a drug overdose when I cried out to God for help. He saved me, but He did so much more than that. He released me from my addiction—and even more from the curses that were keeping me in bondage.

Throughout the Bible we see this truth over and over again—when we do what God tells us to do, we receive blessing; when we do not do what God tells us to do, we open the door for cursing. We must understand this truth: we are not cursed by God! God loves you, and He wants you to receive the good things He has in store for your life. But disobedience receives a curse from the spiritual system by which the world functions.

When we don’t forgive, we don’t receive forgiveness. When we are jealous or envious, we open the door for evil to work in our lives. I have been studying the Word of God for twenty-six years now, and I believe one of the clearest and most important teachings in all of Scripture is this truth about cause and effect. And this is just one of the ten curses the enemy uses to bind the children of God and keep them from enjoying His blessing.

Your actions bring blessing or cursing according to whether you are obeying what God has taught—not just about money but about everything. Whenever you are not receiving blessing, something is blocking it.

It’s that simple because of this wonderful truth…God wants you to be blessed! That is His design and His purpose and His plan for your life. He wants you to enjoy the fullness of all the good things He wants to give you to enjoy. And I want to help you make sure you do receive those blessings.

I want you to enjoy God’s blessings on your health.

I want you to enjoy God’s blessings on your family.

I want you to enjoy God’s blessings on your finances.

I want you to enjoy God’s blessings on every part of your life.
