The Biblical holidays are the ancient “Feasts of the Lord.” They are God’s appointed times and can be seen on our full Jewish Calendar. Each memorializes a special event in our Judeo-Christian history. Each offers a window of blessing, opportunity and revelation for both the present and the future. Collectively they create a powerful yearly cycle for us to live by.
The Lord embedded unique spiritual themes within each that promotes spiritual development and the abundant life we’ve been promised. You’ll also discover the Bible Holidays correspond to Gods plan of redemption, end time events and Jesus’ first coming and His second coming. Jesus celebrated the Biblical Holidays and as His followers we should too.

SUKKOT – THE FEAST OF TABERNACLES
Begins at sunset Sunday, October 9, 2022 and ends at sunset Sunday, October 16, 2022.
Sukkot is the 7th and final of the “Feasts of the Lord.” It commemorates the miraculous protection the Lord provided for the children of Israel coming out of Egypt. The word “Sukkot” means “booths,” and refers to the temporary dwellings that God commanded His people to live in during this 7-day holiday. Because this is one of three great pilgrimage festivals (Passover, Shavuot) it is also the time to sow a first fruits offering before the Lord. This opens the windows of Heaven and brings the promise of a miracle harvest as described in Malachi 3.

This is the special Shabbat between Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur. It is also referred to as Shabbat Teshuvah because it falls during these Ten Days of Repentance. Chanukah celebrates the miracle of the Maccabees’ victory over the Greeks and the regaining of control of Jerusalem. This special 8-day celebration commemorates the rededication of the Temple and the miracle of the oil that burnt for 8 days in the Temple Menorah. The miracle victory and miracle provision God gave has always signified that Chanukah is a season of miracles. It’s traditional to light a Chanukah menorah each night to release the miracles and blessings of God. The Hebrew word Chanukah means “to dedicate” and is referred to in John 10:22 as the Feast of Dedication.
