Can You Really Break Through to the Other Side

Can you really break through to the other side? Will you pass over what has happened in your past and move forward to a new destination in life? Or will you stay stuck in the middle, undecided about your future? Come along with me, because you and I are on our way to begin a journey together towards our breakthrough. It starts right now as we remember why the Jewish people, and you and I, who have been grafted into the rich heritage of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, celebrate the feast of Passover.

Do You Remember What Happened at Passover?

I want to share from The Message translation today. It’s taken from the original languages, but is easier to understand and often puts a fresh perspective on things. It makes things really clear and reminds us what happened before the children of Israel left Egypt on their journey through the Red Sea to the Promised Land. Let’s read in Exodus Chapter 12 where God gives Moses and Aaron instruction concerning Passover.
5-11 “Your lamb must be a healthy male, one year old. Keep it penned until the fourteenth day of this month and then slaughter it—the entire community of Israel will do this—at dusk. Then take some of the blood and smear it on the two doorposts and the lintel of the houses in which you will eat it. You are to eat the meat, roasted in the fire, that night, along with bread, made without yeast, and bitter herbs. Don’t eat any of it raw or boiled in water; make sure it’s roasted—the whole animal, head, legs, and innards. Don’t leave any of it until morning; if there are leftovers, burn them in the fire. “And here is how you are to eat it: Be fully dressed with your sandals on and your stick in your hand. Eat in a hurry; it’s the Passover to GOD.”
You might not know much about the Seder meal mentioned in the last few verses. To learn about what it is, how it is prepared, and why you eat it only on Passover, we have a special resource for you. It will help you find out how to experience the Seder meal with friends and family. Discover the revelations behind this special time and get your free download of “Christ in the Passover”.

You'd Better Get Ready - God is About to Do Something!

God is about to do something extraordinary, so get ready! Let’s go back to Exodus 12 and find out what He did.

12-13 “I will go through the land of Egypt on this night and strike down every firstborn in the land of Egypt, whether human or animal, and bring judgment on all the gods of Egypt. I am GOD. The blood will serve as a sign on the houses where you live. When I see the blood, I will pass over you—no disaster will touch you when I strike the land of Egypt.

14-16 “This will be a memorial day for you; you will celebrate it as a festival to GOD down through the generations, a fixed festival celebration to be observed always.

I Hope You Didn't Miss That Promise God Made

Did you see that? I’ll quote it again, “GOD will pass through to strike Egypt down. When he sees the blood on the lintel and the two doorposts, GOD will pass over the doorway; he won’t let the destroyer enter your house to strike you down with ruin.” You’ve got to get this. God, our protector, sees the blood and causes destruction and death to pass over us. The blood of Jesus, our Passover Lamb, brings life, healing and protection to our lives and families. At the time of the first Passover, He was just a shadow of things to come.

I have to stop here a moment. You have to get this revelation. The children of Israel lived through all ten plagues of Egypt. They weren’t bystanders. They weren’t locked in some kind of ancient safe room, hidden from harm. They were surrounded by the plagues, one after another – the water that turned into blood, frogs, lice, gnats, diseased livestock, boils, hail, locusts, and darkness that lasted for three days. But, unlike the Egyptians, they were untouched. They were witnesses, but escaped every single plague, even the worst of all, the killing of the first born.

There Was a Miracle Right in the Middle of the Destruction

The plagues must have seemed like an endless pandemic. Now we can all relate having experienced Covid-19 that brought isolation, sickness, job loss, homelessness and destruction of every kind. For others, there has been death as well. Thousands upon thousands in the United States and around the world have lost elderly parents, other family members and friends, multiplied by not being able to say their goodbyes. Almost everyone knows someone that has been affected by this pandemic. As bad as it has been, and continues to be, the ancient Israelites and Egyptians must have encountered much worse, compressed into a short period of time.

The Bible tells about these strings of plagues in detail. Recorded within the Exodus accounts are the lists of disaster after disaster, leading up to the worst of all, the tragic loss of each Egyptian family’s first-born son. Screams and cries of Egyptian families must have echoed from dwelling to dwelling. The fear must have been thick enough you could cut it with a knife. Their first-born sons were dying before their eyes and they could do nothing to help. Yet, God miraculously caused the spirit of death to pass over the homes of the Israelites. The blood of the lamb on the doorposts of their homes was a sign of His protection and constant deliverance. It was a bloodline the spirit of death COULD NOT CROSS.

A Powerful Sign on the Inside and Out

I believe that the blood of the lamb, smeared on the doorposts wasn’t just on the outside. I believe it was on the inside as well. Why? Because, as the Israelites were in their homes they must have heard the sounds of death moving like a freight train down the streets. As they heard it, huddled together, they looked up and saw the blood. They knew God was there. He had never left them through everything. He promised He would protect them. He would save the lives of their first-born sons. That first Passover was the shadow of things to come. A Messiah was coming, THE Passover lamb, that would be the ultimate sacrifice for everything. Today, the blood of Jesus, YOUR Passover Lamb is a sign to you and your family of His constant presence, protection, deliverance and miraculous power no matter what is happening around you.

Your One-of-a-Kind Breakthrough is Just Getting Started

During this feast of Passover and the bringing of your First Fruit offering, look up. A breakthrough is coming! The windows of Heaven are opening over you. For Israel to enter into the promise of redemption, they had to make a Passover offering. Their miracle breakthrough could not happen any other way. If you want to activate the promises and blessings of God then it’s important to follow God’s plan. This Passover offering is a covenant offering that brings a harvest of three divine blessings: Grace. Protection. Favor. Remember when the Israelites left and headed for the Red Sea? Just as their deliverance was in sight, they heard a thundering sound. They turned to see Pharaoh’s chariots hot on their heels. A one-of-a-kind breakthrough was about to happen. The Red Sea divided on both sides and they walked forward on dry land. Then the sea closed behind them swallowing up their enemies. Their journey out of Egypt ended in a miracle. And what a miracle!

Can You See the Miracle Waiting for You?

Just like the Israelites, you will have the grace you need. You will have favor not just with Him but with those around you. God has a promotion, open door of opportunity, increase, prosperity and much more waiting for you. If you want to be ‘propelled forward’ this year then you need to put your faith into action. Your Passover First Fruits offering is so important. It will be used to bless Israel and help fulfill end-time Bible prophecy. Yes, there are other causes you could and should support but let me assure you that when you bless Israel and work to fulfill God’s plan and purpose with the Jewish people it is the most powerful thing you could do.

As you do this, He will keep His promise to rebuke the devourer, Satan, from your life.

Don’t miss this opportunity. Make your Passover First Fruits Offering here. Get ready, as you celebrate this Passover, remember that you are about to leave Egypt behind and enter God’s Promised Land!

Why Israel Is Important For Christians

Israel’s rebirth as a nation is the single greatest fulfillment of Bible prophecy we have seen in 2,000 years. Throughout world history, doubters said that it could never happen. No people lacking land and a common language could possibly be reborn as a nation! It had never happened before, and most of the world had been convinced it would never happen. Yet it did, exactly the way God said it would.
