The Miraculous Blessings of First Fruits

Discover God’s Promise for You at First Fruits!

God established the Fall Feasts, when we bring our third First Fruits offering, as an appointed time to activate the blessing of a miracle harvest. It’s one of the many biblical truths God wants you to know. However, as with so many things in the Bible, these truths can only be understood fully by reading and studying the Bible with a Jewish mindset. We need to go back to the original Hebrew text to discover the fullness of the revelation. You can follow the Jewish feast days with our Month calendar , which features photographs of sacred sites across Israel.

It’s also important to realize that Jesus and His disciples were not Jews who converted to Christianity, but rather they were practicing Jews. Lest we forget, Jesus was an observant Jewish rabbi who followed the Torah, kept kosher, preached in synagogues throughout Israel, and celebrated the biblical holidays.

Should Christians Celebrate Fall Feasts?

Most Christians have been taught the biblical holidays were abolished with the coming of Jesus; but in reality, nothing could be further from the truth. These biblical celebrations are divine times… appointed times when God intends to reveal His plan of redemption and connect us to His supernatural blessing.

This is what Jesus taught in Matthew 5:17: “Don’t think that I have come to abolish the Torah or the Prophets. I have come not to abolish but to complete. CJB

When the Lord says that He came to complete it, that doesn’t mean to abolish or eliminate. Rather it means that He came to give us a more complete understanding on how to make things work. Once you begin to see how God wants to bless you during His biblical holidays, His Fall Feasts, a whole new world of wisdom and revelation knowledge will open up for you.

Preparing For Your Meeting With God

We have just come through the season of Elul, the anointed time God gave us not to perform a ritual, but to receive a revelation that will revolutionize our lives. In preparation for Rosh Hashanah, The Feast of Trumpets, we blow the shofar over our lives, our families, and our nation. In the book of Leviticus, Israel was told to blow the shofar 100 times during Rosh Hashanah. Every time we hear the shofar, the sounding of the alarm, we choose to become doers of the Word, rather than just hearers. As we respond to His call to return, He blesses us.

This month for your first fruits offering of any size, we want to bless you with Pastor Larry’s, The Shofar: God’s Wake-Up Call. In this single CD with two powerful messages, you will discover the spiritual reasons why you should blow the shofar over your life and family; and how God intends it to be used to release blessing and victory in your life.

You Have Appointed Times With God

Leviticus 23:1-2 and 4 teaches that the biblical holidays are the “Feasts of the Lord”, And the Lord spoke to Moses, saying, “Speak to the children of Israel, and say to them: ‘The feasts of the Lord, which you shall proclaim to be holy convocations, these are My feasts.’” …. ‘These are the feasts of the Lord, holy convocations which you shall proclaim at their appointed times.

In Hebrew, appointed times is the word “Mo’edim” and it means the times that God says, “I will do something very special on these days, something I won’t do any other time of the year.” This is one reason why the enemy has fought the Church from participating in these amazing celebrations.

God chooses these times to meet with us to do some very special things. These are secrets of success that the traditional Church has never known, until now in the last days. The truth is, God has imbedded each holiday with certain characteristics and blessings so that His people can experience supernatural breakthrough, power and rewards – spiritually, physically and financially.

How to Activate God's First Fruit Promises

The three main “feasts” are Passover, Pentecost (Shavuot) and Feast of Tabernacles (Sukkot). Notice what the Lord says in conjunction with these holidays: three times a year all your men must come into the presence of the Lord your God at the place he will choose: at the Festival of Unleavened Bread, the Festival of Weeks, and the Festival of Booths. But no one may come into the presence of the Lord without an offering. Deuteronomy 16:16 GOD’S WORD Translation

The offering God tells us to sow at these times are First Fruits Offerings. In Hebrew they are known as a ‘bikkurim’ offerings. Bikkurim means ‘a promise of things to come.

What God is trying to reveal to us is that when we sow this offering (in faith and with thanksgiving), extraordinary promises will be activated and His blessing will follow. This is one of God’s divine principles that never changes.

Proverbs 3:9,10 is one of the many first fruits promises we can stand on. Honor the Lord with your possessions, and with the firstfruits of all your increase; So your barns will be filled with plenty, And your vats will overflow with new wine.

This promise shows us that the Lord has predetermined that our First Fruits Offering will generate an increase of financial blessing and spiritual power. Financial abundance is in the promise ‘your barns will be filled with plenty’ and spiritual power is in the promise ‘your vats will over flow with new wine.’

The Miracle Power Of The First Fruits Seed

According to ancient Bible wisdom, it’s during these three holidays that a special window from Heaven passes over us. The Hebrew word for “window,” as found in Malachi 3:10, means “portal” and its God’s ability being released to meet your needs.

This scripture relates directly to the promise that comes from the First Fruits Offering. The Lord even says: ‘Try it! Put Me to the test!’ … If you do,” says the Lord of Heaven’s Armies, “I will open the windows of heaven for you. I will pour out a blessing so great you won’t have enough room to take it in! Malachi 3:10

However, what we need to understand is that these three first fruit windows of blessing are specific seasons on God’s biblical calendar. Every year they pass by, and those who respond will enter into the promises. If you sow at the appointed time you will in due season reap a miracle harvest of prosperity, protection and provision.

We recently received this amazing testimony of the miracle power of the First Fruits seed.

Dear Pastor Larry,

This past year my husband and I heard your teaching on Malachi 3:10 for the first time, which says: “Try Me now in this . . . If I will not open for you the windows of heaven and pour out for you such blessing that there will not be room enough to receive it.”

We had never been taught this principle of First Fruits, and we made the decision to trust God at His Word. So we brought our best offering to Him through Larry Huch Ministries. Literally, three days later, we received a completely unexpected blessing of $2,500.

I told my husband “Oh My Lord, It worked!”

Not long after, we began looking to buy our first home. Even with the high prices and bidding wars in the current housing market, we put our faith in God that He would lead us to the right house. We soon found a place our family loved, and made an offer.

We learned that someone had offered $11,000 more than ours. We had no way to pay that, but we brought our best counter offer with a slight increase anyway. And God moved in our lives again by giving us supernatural favor. To our surprise . . . they accepted our offer!

We found out later the sellers were Christians and really wanted us to have their house!! As all this unfolded, both realtors were actually crying and acknowledged that,

“This kind of stuff never happens. This is a God thing!”

In faith, we have believed and obeyed the Lord through our First Fruits offering. And as God promised, He opened the windows of heaven and poured out His abundant blessings over our family!

Thank you for sharing this Malachi 3:10 message. With God, all things are possible. And we know there are more miracle harvests on the way as we bless Him with our offerings of love.

With Gratitude
Cristina from Texas

First fruits is the offering that keeps on giving. Amen! And what God did for this family He can do also for you! He is no respecter of persons. You just need to realize that as the ‘Lord of the Harvest’ our God has established ‘Laws of the Harvest.’

Three Keys To Living An Abundant Life

In God’s Kingdom when it comes to receiving financial increase you must first plant a financial seed, especially at First Fruits. As you do, God will multiply your offering the same way He multiplies the farmer’s seed. This is one of the principles of sowing and reaping.

The Apostle Paul taught the early church this principle and even though many haven’t really understood it, it is still in effect today: ….A farmer who plants just a few seeds will get only a small crop, but if he plants much, he will reap much. 2 Corinthians 9:6 TLB

This particular teaching also shows us that you establish the size of your harvest when you plant your seed. The Lord set it up so that if you sow more, you will reap more. If you sow less, you will reap less. Like gravity, it’s a law that works whether we believe it or not.

Here’s something else related to all of this. Ancient Jewish wisdom teaches there are three things with no limits: Torah study, blessing the poor through tzedakah and the First Fruits Offering.

Three Keys To Living An Abundant Life

  1. Study the Bible
  2. Bless the poor
  3. Sow Your First Fruits Seed

What a promising revelation!

Experience God’s Promises Now

You’re going to begin to experience more of what God has promised when you make the choice to sow abundantly in faith and obedience according to His Word.

Get ready, because promises like we’re given in Ephesians 3:20-21 are about to be released – Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us… NKJV

There’s no doubt that during these appointed times the Lord is ready to manifest promises in your life that are infinitely more than we could ever ask or think. Amen!

The prophet Joel promised the first fruits blessing will be like the early and the latter rain.

The Promises of Rain in Joel 2 teaches us this rain represents an outpouring of spiritual power and financial abundance.

  • It’s a rain from heaven that cancels any drought in your life.
  • It’s a rain that protects your financial seed from drying up.
  • It’s a rain that brings so much harvest it compensates for anything the enemy has stolen.
  • It’s a rain that leaves no doubt the Lord is your God and He is protecting you, providing for you and prospering you!

What promises… and what a blessing!

Good Seed, Good Ground, Good God, and Good Harvest

Another one of the laws of the harvest is that you must plant your seed in good ground. Jesus taught this principle in Matthew 13:8; But some fell on good soil and produced a crop that was thirty, sixty, and even a hundred times as much as he had planted. TLB

When you sow your First Fruits Offering in the good soil of Larry Huch Ministries, you are opening the door to a miracle harvest with no limits. Not only because of the Laws of the Harvest but also because the proceeds of your offerings go toward blessing Israel.

This month we are honored to bless the nation of Israel by sponsoring an incredible new Project Aliyah mission. We’ve been involved with Project Aliyah now for many years bringing olim (immigrants) back home to Israel from Ethiopia, Mexico, France, and Former Soviet Union countries including our most recent plane carrying 100 teenagers from Kazakhstan.

Your gift this month will go not only towards aliyah airfare but also fulfill important immigration assistance such as housing, food, and education. Now this Jewish community, through your act of kindness will be leaving Kazakhstan and coming to the nation of Israel. God-willing, we are going bring some of their families to join them as well. What God is doing through this particular assignment is amazing. And when you bless Israel, God’s promise is that He will bless you. (Genesis 12:3)

This promise is especially true in these last days. As we see the rise of the anti-Christ spirit and system you want your financial seed to be sown into a ministry that is standing with Israel, fulfilling Bible prophecy and helping to prepare the world for the coming of the Lord.

So be encouraged today because it is no coincidence that you’re reading this blog. Consider it a divine appointment. Let these truths inspire you to step out in faith and sow your First Fruits Offering. Stand on the promises… and having done all to stand, stand with confidence. Stand in faith. Stand with spiritual vision because your miracle harvest is on the way!

Why Israel Is Important For Christians

Israel’s rebirth as a nation is the single greatest fulfillment of Bible prophecy we have seen in 2,000 years. Throughout world history, doubters said that it could never happen. No people lacking land and a common language could possibly be reborn as a nation! It had never happened before, and most of the world had been convinced it would never happen. Yet it did, exactly the way God said it would.
