What Is God Birthing in the Earth Right Now?
As you already know from what we shared in the previous Reading the Signs Part 1 blog, the Lord has stirred Pastor Larry to teach about Bible prophecy and reading the signs of the end times yet again. One thing that got everyone’s attention was the rise of COVID-19, the pandemic that first appeared in late January of 2020 and is still impacting millions around the world. Nations completely locked down, closing business, leaving people out of work and creating economic problems for states, cities, and household incomes. Masks were mandatory, and still are in some places. Churches were declared “non-essential.” Frustrations and anger increased, and governors and mayors encouraged lawlessness and rioting in the streets. The world changed dramatically overnight.
The Bible shows us that these are the beginning of birth pangs and signs of the coming of the Lord. As we watched what was happening, Pastor Larry heard the Lord say, “Something life-changing is about to be birthed. It is either going to be the Rapture of believers, or a revival. You need to make the church aware of what is about to happen.”
Your Future Is Not Full of Doom and Gloom, But God’s Best!
The closer we get to the end of this age, the more the birth pangs will intensify. When that happens, it will be clear who is on the Lord’s side and who isn’t. We have you covered in prayer and believe that you aren’t just surviving but thriving through all this craziness!
As we look up and expect the return of our Messiah, I want to encourage you to stay strong in the Lord! Study God’s Word, fellowship with Him, pray daily, attend your church and build up your faith.
We know that no one knows exactly when the Messiah will come. He could return today or tomorrow, but Pastor Larry does believe that it will be during his lifetime.
You Don’t Want to Miss God’s Signs That Are Happening Now!
In the “Reading the Signs of God – Rapture or Revival?” teaching series (available as Part 1 and Part 2), Pastor Larry spent a lot of time in the Gospel of Matthew, Chapter 24. This chapter is the answer Jesus gave to His disciples then, and to us now, to their question, “What will be the sign of your coming and of the end of the age?”
Pastor shared a detailed explanation of the birth pangs that would occur during the last days. One of the most important of these prophetic events on God’s timeline is mentioned in Matthew 24, verses 32-34. Jesus talks about the blossoming of the fig tree. We believe as many scholars believe, that the fig tree in this passage is Israel. The prophet Hosea foretold that once Israel becomes a nation, there will be only one generation before the Messiah comes (Hosea 9:10).
Do You Know Why Israel and the Jewish People Are So Important?
Did you know that Israel became a nation 73 years ago? It happened on May 14, 1948. In 1967 they occupied the city God promised them, Jerusalem. It’s no coincidence that God would point us to the nation of Israel as an important sign before the Messiah comes.
Another sign, and one many Christians miss, is discussed by the Apostle Paul in the Book of Ephesians, Chapter 2. He writes about a time when Christians and Jews would come together in unity as “one new man.”
