Reading the Signs of God

Are You Reading The Signs of God?

Just like Christ’s disciples, many have pondered this question, “What will be the sign of Your coming, and of the end of the age?” (Matthew 24:3). The Bible provides several examples to help us see that we are in the end times and we must pay attention to what’s most important: God’s way.

Many might be taken by surprise by world events, but we shouldn’t be. Signs are signals with a purpose, a warning. We’ve read in Matthew, concerning Bible prophecy, before the 15th verse about birth pangs. Remember the birth pangs are a warning that something major is about to happen. In Hebrew, these are called the footsteps of the Messiah. We read in Matthew 24:15-21

“Therefore, when you see the ‘abomination of desolation,’ spoken of by Daniel the prophet, standing in the holy place” whoever reads, let him understand, then let those who are in Judea flee to the mountains. Let him who is on the housetop not go down to take anything out of his house. And let him who is in the field not go back to get his clothes. But woe to those who are pregnant and to those who are nursing babies in those days! And pray that your flight may not be in winter or on the Sabbath. For then there will be great tribulation, such as has not been since the beginning of the world until this time, no, nor ever shall be.”

When I watched the television and saw the riots in the streets, people going in, burning businesses, killing people and government officials not only allowing it, but encouraging it, I recognized that this is a wake-up call for the church. What we see with this insane spirit of destruction, the scripture says its nothing in comparison to what the real thing will be. Think about the Holocaust, think about the inquisitions, think about the crusades. They burned people alive! And His word says that the experience will be worse than anything we have ever seen.

A SHADOW OF THINGS TO COME

Paul says in Colossians that these things whether it’s Passover, Shavuot (Pentecost), Sukkot, or The Feast of Tabernacles, are birth pangs, or that these are a shadow of things to come. A shadow is not something less; a shadow is the same thing, only it’s temporary. Someday we will all be raptured. It will happen. All of a sudden, millions of us will be gone.

Now we can see that these are a shadow of things to come. Passover was the shadow and Resurrection Sunday, the real thing. 50 days later, Shavuot is the shadow, and then Pentecost, the real thing. What has not happened yet? Rosh Hashanah, which is a shadow of the rapture and Yom Kippur, the shadow of the second coming and the entrance into the Sabbath Millennium.

What we are seeing happen in the world, in the streets, in politics, with big tech censorship, fake news, the loss of liberty and so many livelihoods destroyed through the coronavirus lockdown are the birth pangs leading us to the rapture.

We know that no one knows the day or the hour, but the Father. I don’t know if it’s going to happen this year. I don’t know if it’s going to happen next year. Nobody knows exactly when it’s going to happen. Think about pregnancy. When a woman gets pregnant, they go to the doctor, and the doctor says, “Well, your due date is…” They’re giving you an approximate date. It might be a little early. It might be a little late. There might be other things that happen. It’s an approximate date. But when they start getting towards the time to give birth to that child, ladies, very seldom go, “Where’d that come from? I didn’t know.” Am I right?

Many people say that right before the rapture, there is going to be a great revival, but the great end time revival that the Bible talks about happens the day after, not right before the rapture. This is why it’s so important that we understand Israel’s place in prophecy. In the twinkling of an eye, a moment, the rapture will take place and we’re gone.

Can you imagine the chaos that will be on the Earth? Government leaders, religious leaders are already making plans. Once we’re gone, they’re going to come up with an excuse to explain why millions of people are gone. You need to consider if you are going to make the rapture? The moment the rapture takes place, you and I stand at the judgment seat of Christ and we’ll be rewarded for what we’ve done or we haven’t done.

THIS IS YOUR WAKE-UP CALL!

These birth pangs are the wake-up call, the sign of the times, telling us to prepare for the rapture. I believe we’ve got some time before the return of the Lord. Even though I fully understand that it’s the wicked servant who says the Master will delay His coming, I do believe we’ve got some time before the rapture.

Recently, Tiz was on the phone with a lady, our financial planner, as we are planning our wills, just to make sure everything is in order. The lady says to Tiz, “Now I have to ask you some tough questions. Okay? If Larry goes first, then you get everything.” And she said, “Yeah. And if you go first, Larry gets everything. Right. Okay. Then, if you both go, your kids get everything. If your kids go, the grandkids get everything.” And then she asked these words, “What if you’re all gone?” And Tiz said, “If we’re all gone, do you mean the rapture?” She said, “This is something that is coming up many times a day, every day, for the last several months.” The point is that people everywhere are thinking about this.

If you’ve been thinking about this you need to be sure you are about your Father’s business! This means staying strong in the Spirit and strong in the Word. It also means that you’re being a blessing to others, especially the less fortunate.

Jesus taught that when we stand before Him and are judged, it will be based on how we treated others. It’s our good deeds and acts of kindness that will tip the scales toward a beautiful and wonderful reward. Here’s the actual scripture in Matthew 25: 31-36,

“But when the Son of Man comes in His glory, and all the angels with Him, then He will sit upon His glorious throne. All the nations will be gathered in His presence, and He will separate the people as a shepherd separates the sheep from the goats. He will place the sheep at his right hand and the goats at his left.

“Then the King will say to those on his right, ‘Come, you who are blessed by my Father, inherit the Kingdom prepared for you from the creation of the world. For I was hungry, and you fed me. I was thirsty, and you gave me a drink. I was a stranger, and you invited me into your home. I was naked, and you gave me clothing. I was sick, and you cared for me. I was in prison, and you visited me.’

“Then these righteous ones will reply, ‘Lord, when did we ever see you hungry and feed you? Or thirsty and give you something to drink? Or a stranger and show you hospitality? Or naked and give you clothing? When did we ever see you sick or in prison and visit you?’”

“And the King will say, ‘I tell you the truth, when you did it to one of the least of these my brothers and sisters, you were doing it to me!’ (NLT)

STANDING WITH ISRAEL

Every contribution you make to Larry Huch Ministries accomplishes this very purpose. Jesus is referring to “the least of these” as the most vulnerable of His brothers and sisters in Israel – the Jewish people.

We believe that when we stand with Israel and are a blessing to the Jewish people through our charitable outreaches, we are not only pleasing the Lord, but we are also fulfilling Bible prophecy by tearing down the walls between Christians and Jews. We are activating the very first promise of God concerning Israel in Genesis 12:3; “I will bless those who bless Israel”.

You can bless Israel today with $10, $25 or even $100 or whatever amount God puts on your heart. Your gift will go toward blessing Israel by supporting elderly Holocaust Survivors, fulfilling Bible prophecy through the Olive Grove Project or Project Aliyah, helping Ethiopian Jews return to their ancestral homeland (Israel).

We’re believing the next four years is going to be the greatest outpouring of revival, salvation, signs and wonders and miracles. We are going out with a shout, as a glorious church. We’re not going out hiding. We’re not going out beaten up. We’re not going out defeated. We’re going out shouting from the rooftop that, Jesus Christ is the King of Kings and the Lord of Lords!

God Bless You! Our best is yet to come!

Why Israel Is Important For Christians

Israel’s rebirth as a nation is the single greatest fulfillment of Bible prophecy we have seen in 2,000 years. Throughout world history, doubters said that it could never happen. No people lacking land and a common language could possibly be reborn as a nation! It had never happened before, and most of the world had been convinced it would never happen. Yet it did, exactly the way God said it would.
