Blessings, Jo * Reply Sandra on August 24, 2017 at 10:52 pm I am learning so much about my Jewish roots and all that the depth of the Hebrew language means through your ministry and the leading of the Ruach Ha Chodesh (Holy Spirit). This is exciting about the shofar & learning how to blow it has been a fun challenge! The breathe of the Almighty and Adoni keep you refreshed with His Presence. Thank you Pastors Larry and Tiz Huch! sj Reply Janice Furman on August 25, 2017 at 6:38 pm I am truly thankful for the teachings of my inheritance. When we are under religion and not under the spiritual knowledge of our Lord and Savior we become ignorant to so many things. The word tells us that the people perish for the lack of knowledge. To understand what is rightfully mine is astonishing. I truly thank you Pastor Larry and Tiz for not only teaching about my heritage, but also allowing me to participate. The blowing of the shofar has been such an inspirational and enlightening experience, and I truly thank you. Shalom, Janice Reply Maria from California on August 28, 2017 at 12:30 pm Thank you so much Pastors Larry and Tiz. Your ministry has been such a blessing to me and my family. I love learning about my Jewish roots. Reply Delores Hicks on August 24, 2018 at 10:33 am I have one of the smaller shofars and can’t seem to get the sound out. There needs to be instructions on HOW to blow it. Reply Cynthia Cunha on August 24, 2018 at 12:14 pm I have a shofar but am having trouble with consistantly getting a sound out of it. I can get one occassionally. Please help me with this. Sincerly, Cynthia Reply Piano Sgt. on September 8, 2018 at 5:44 pm Similar to playing a brass instrument mouthpiece-Trumpet, French Horn, the rim of this “mouthpiece” area is very thin. Take your lips and try to practice “buzzing” them together, forcing air through them. Then try to find a “comfortable” area on that part and “buzz” to get the note/pitch through. The larger the shofar/ram’s horn, the possibility of a two-toned instrument, usually a 5th apart. You can vary the note/pitch frequency a few “cents” flat or sharp depending on the amount of air you send through it. (Don’t blow from the larger end as you’ll sound like a car muffler)- The Piano Sgt. (502 AF Band-Keesler AFB, Miss.) Reply Janet Summers on September 27, 2018 at 8:09 am I am just curious…is there a pattern of the blowing for different needs…ie: victory in battle…I was just thinking should the Shofar be blown when praying for things such as the issues going on in Wash DC over the Supreme Court nominee….also praying over the President and all the attacks on him and his family….Thank you… Reply Larry Huch Ministries on October 1, 2018 at 10:24 am Here is a link to more teaching on the shofar, blessings! https://89rrj5puz31fk9l54floftjs-wpengine.netdna-ssl.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/08/Shofar_Guidelines.pdf Reply Submit a Comment Cancel reply Your email address will not be published.
