Thousands say ‘Never Again’ at March of the Living in Poland

Pastor Larry Huch plus LHM staff attended this year’s March of the Living in Poland. This annual event is a living remembrance of the Jewish victims of the Auschwitz— Birkenau death camp. Over 13,000 people marched in honor of the many millions of innocent lives lost during this tragic time.

DEATH MARCH

This annual event contrasts the death marches Jews were forced to take by Nazi soldiers who shot those who fell or who lagged behind.

The three-kilometer trail from Auschwitz to Birkenau was led by more than forty Holocaust survivors. Ambassadors, religious leaders, students, businessmen, philanthropists, and people worldwide came to stand in solidarity with Israel.

This year marked the 35th March of the Living, as well as 80 years since the Warsaw Ghetto uprising, and Israel’s 75th anniversary as a state. Despite this remembrance, anti-Semitism is greater today than it was in Nazi Germany.

This worldwide crisis is close to a boiling point and we as Christians have the privilege to stand with the Jewish people in their time of need. When the Auschwitz camp first opened, it wasn’t just for Jews.  It was built to imprison anyone who defied Hitler. Later it turned into a mass ‘holding pen’ before killing millions of Jewish people.

STANDING STRONG

What many people don’t realize is that this inhumane treatment grew gradual  before it became an accepted way of life. This is why Larry Huch Ministries is heavily engaged in doing our part to tear down the dividing walls between Christians and Jews and build strong bridges of solidarity.

UNITED FRONT

At the march, Pastor Larry spoke to one reporter and expressed his, and your, love for Israel and the Jewish people as he said, “I believe that had Israel existed then there would have never been a Holocaust.  This is why it’s so important that you and I stand together around the world for the nation of Israel.  “We stand for her right to exist and for the love of the Jewish people wherever they are.  We will never allow this to happen again.  Israel is the promised land and God continues to bring the Jews back to it.”

Please pray for Israel, her people, and an end to anti- Semitism.  Together we will stand as guardians at the gate saying, “Never Again!”

As we always teach—your blessing begins with being a blessing. Every one of your tzedakah and First Fruits offerings this year will bless Israel. Your most generous offerings will indeed be put to work in Israel and for the benefit of the Jewish people.

Every offering you sow fulfills God’s will, helps ‘repair the breach’ between Christians and Jews, and strengthens your position to Possess the Promises of Genesis 12:3.

“I will bless those who bless you…And in you,

all the families of the earth shall be blessed”

When we bless God’s people and the land of Israel, we will in turn receive His gracious blessing as He promises in Genesis 12:3.

Your prayers and support mean so much to Israel, the Jewish people, and Larry Huch Ministries.

We thank you for your continued compassion. As a result, we fully expect you to experience the blessing of God and the promises of Genesis 12:3 like never before!

Hand Delivering Hope in A Box

One of our greatest outreaches is providing for elderly Jews and Holocaust survivors.

Close to 7,500 of these elderly Jewish people are living in one of our Amigour homes where together with our partner agency in Israel we provide for them to live independently, yet remain connected to many unique social services that Larry Huch Ministries and friends like you help fund.

These safe housing units are caring environments that empower elderly Jews, like Hannah. She was a young, eight-year-old when her parents were hauled away by the Nazis to a concentration camp. She had to forage for food just to survive. That feeling of helplessness has stayed with Hannah into her adult years. Fortunately, she was able to make aliyah to Israel and now lives in one of our homes.

LHM’s Compassion in Action: Saving Lives and Supporting Traumatized Children

Several southern Israeli cities recently came under intense attack as a barrage of rocket fire from Gaza continued for days. Elderly Jews and Holocaust survivors faced ongoing fears of knowing that emergency alert sirens could, and would, sound at a moment’s notice.

Fortunately, at one of our partner homes in Ashkelon, each floor had a bomb shelter for elderly Jewish women and men to take quick refuge.
