shavuot - Pentecost
the feast of the weeks
Evening of Sunday, Jun 1, 2025 – Tuesday, Jun 3, 2025
Shavuot celebrates the revelation of the Ten Commandments and the Torah God gave Israel at Mt Sinai – which contains the divine principles and standards for governing the nation and living a successful life. It comes after a special 7-week period that began at Passover the Bible calls ‘Counting the Omer.’ The time between both holidays commemorates the powerful spiritual journey and transformation that took place. Christians now observe Shavuot as Pentecost (50) and celebrate the outpouring of the Holy Spirit. This is the second of our first fruit offerings.
