Day 17: The Promise Of Financial Abundance
Your Prosperity
and to kill, and to destroy.
I have come that they may have life,
1 Peter 2:24
Poverty was never meant to be part of Christianity. Prosperity was always part of God’s plan of redemption for His people.
Jesus made all of this possible as He shed His blood when the crown of thorns was placed on His brow. (John 19:2) This broke the curse of poverty that entered the world through Adam and Eve’s disobedience. The power of the blood of Christ freed you from that financial curse. It released you into the fullness of God’s blessing and abundance!
This may surprise you: God is not against you having money. He is, however, against money having you. God is not asking you to take a vow of poverty, but He is asking you to take a vow of priorities.
Never forget that you are blessed to be a blessing. This is one of the great principles that will help you become a better you. Keep God and His work as the first priority in your life. Then there’s no end to the prosperity He’ll pour into you and through you!
Today’s Prayer: Heavenly Father, thank You that the curse of poverty is broken off of my life. You have redeemed me to live under the open windows of Heaven. Right now I receive unlimited abundance, blessing and prosperity! It was paid for, in full, by the blood that Jesus shed for me. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
