Day 9: God Is More Than Enough

Jehovah Jireh

“But my God shall supply all your need
according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus.”

Philippians 4:19

One of the amazing things about our Heavenly Father is that He calls Himself Jehovah Jireh. The God Who is your Provider.

The Hebrew meaning of Jehovah Jireh is literally “The Lord will provide.” (Genesis 22:14) Our God is a gracious Father and He desires to meet every single need you have. He will provide… everything and anything you need.

Not only is it God’s plan to provide for all your needs, it is also His desire to provide more than enough. This is one of the secrets of the journey between Passover and Pentecost. God took Israel from Egypt, which represents the land of not enough, and put them on a journey to the Promised Land. The land of more than enough! What He promised to Israel is a promise to you and I today.

You have a covenant with God, through the blood of our Savior Jesus. It is unbreakable and includes everything you need to prosper. God, as Jehovah Jireh, promises in Ephesians 3:20 that He will do exceedingly, abundantly above all we can ever think, ask or imagine. What a mighty God we serve!

Today’s Prayer: Father, I believe that You are Jehovah Jireh in my life. You are my Provider. I ask You to release Your supernatural blessing and prosperity in AND through my life. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
