Project Aliyah: Flights That Bring Hope and New Beginnings

Ever since the Jewish people were exiled from Israel, they have been making aliyah back to the Holy Land.

Today, Jewish individuals and families are awaiting their turn to board a Project Aliyah flight to escape the growing anti-Semitic attacks around the world.

Thanks to you and other Larry Huch Ministries friends we are making their dreams of living in Israel a reality.

DANGEROUS DAYS

We are in the planning stages of traveling to France to see first hand the horrific treatment of the Jewish community.

A great deal of anti-Israel graffiti, destruction, and attacks continue to occur there.

One of our Project Aliyah planes will be coming from France which LHM staff will return on the plane with them.

Several years ago, Pastor Larry preached in the largest Christian church in France. However, that church no longer exists because Muslims took over the entire area.

Tragically, thousands of Jewish people have been forced from this neighborhood.

OFFERING HOPE

Israel is a place of refuge for Jewish people fleeing from the dangers of anti-Semitism.

A big part of our fulfillment of biblical prophecy is in our helping reestablish the modern State of Israel.

Even though there is now a seven-front war going on in the Holy Land, this is the one and only biblical homeland of the Jewish people.

Together, with your loving support, we will make sure Israel is a place where Jews from France, South Africa, Argentina, and the rest of the world can make their aliyah. In Genesis 12:1, the Lord said to Abraham, “Go from your country, your people and your father’s household to the land I will show you.”

This is the first aliyah when God told Abraham to go with his family and to leave his father’s home.

In verses 2 and 3, God makes His land covenant with Abraham and promises to bless anyone who blesses Israel: “I will make you into a great nation, and I will bless you; I will make your name great, and you will be a blessing. I will bless those who bless you [Israel].” (Genesis 12:2–3)

The Resnik Family’s Aliyah Journey

Through the First Home in the Homeland program, new immigrant families are welcomed into a kibbutz community, where they receive housing, meals, ulpan Hebrew classes, and schooling for their children.
Ekanterina and Dmitry Resnik made Aliyah from Russia with their three children in August 2023, joining the program at Kibbutz Or HaNer in southern Israel. While the children quickly adapted to their new school, the parents eagerly began Hebrew lessons.

However, on October 7th, the family’s new life was disrupted by a terrorist attack from Gaza. They sought shelter and were evacuated to northern Tveria the following day, where they lived for four months before being relocated to a hotel in Jerusalem for several more months.

After months of displacement, the Resniks were finally able to return to Kibbutz Or HaNer. Recognizing the hardships they endured during the Swords of Iron War, the program extended their participation for another year. Dmitry now works as an engineer at a local factory, while Ekaterina contributes as a part-time baker and caterer on the kibbutz.

Grateful to be back, the Resnik family has embraced their community despite the challenges, sharing that they’ve “fallen in love” with the kibbutz and their new life in Israel.

NEED FOR READINESS

We are thankful to be able to help many families like The Resnik family; however, we know that in our working with Keren Hayesod, we are expecting a large increase in the number of Jewish people requesting to make aliyah in 2025.
Widespread anti-Semitism, the difficulty for Jews to freely live their faith in public, and with talks of the war ending, more Jewish men, women, and children are ready to apply for their aliyah to the Holy Land.

Your prayers and offerings have allowed LHM to sponsor hundreds of thousands of Jewish people to make their aliyah from lands like Russia, Ethiopia, and other dangerous countries.

UNITED IN FAITH

We pray you will continue helping rescue and resettle many more Jewish people and their families throughout this year from numerous countries of distress.

This Is Your Moment to Stand with Israel in a Time of War

Right now, Israel is facing one of the most intense seasons of conflict in recent history.

Missiles and drones launched from Iran continue to target innocent civilians. Sirens sound without warning. Families have only seconds to run for safety. Children fall asleep in bomb shelters. Elderly Holocaust survivors – many unable to flee – are left vulnerable, isolated, and in desperate need.

When Every Second Matters: How One Call Led to a Miracle Birth in Israel

On a quiet Saturday evening in Be’er Sheva, as Shabbat was coming to a close, a call came into MDA’s National Emergency Dispatch Center that would become a moment of life, faith, and divine timing.
A 33-year-old woman, 39 weeks pregnant, was suddenly in active labor. Within minutes, the situation escalated beyond control. There was no time to reach the hospital.
