Elderly Jews and Holocaust survivors in Israel deeply treasure the love and support they receive through your ongoing generosity. Only because of you, Larry Huch Ministries delivered more than 1,000 food boxes to seniors living in Amigour homes during Rosh Hashanah and other biblical holidays. Your offerings provide daily essentials and special holiday items that bring comfort, dignity, and hope to some of the most vulnerable people in Israel.
A Growing and Urgent Need
There are approximately 220,800 Holocaust survivors worldwide, and nearly 50% live in Israel. Through our initiative with Amigour, you are helping to address a massive unmet need, as there are an estimated 90,000 low-income seniors in Israel living below the poverty line. Amigour operates 57 sheltered housing complexes across Israel, serving about 7,500 disadvantaged elderly residents—many of whom are Holocaust survivors, elderly Jews with no family, or new immigrants trying to rebuild their lives in a new homeland.
These precious men and women have endured more hardship than most of us can imagine. And now, in the sunset years of their lives, they should not have to face hunger, loneliness, or lack.
A Miracle in Every Box
This LHM outreach is part of God’s sacred call to “share your food with the hungry.” When you give, you are not only meeting physical needs—you are bringing emotional comfort, spiritual encouragement, and a powerful reminder that they are not forgotten. Every food box becomes a small miracle of light, restoring hope and reminding them that the global Christian community stands with them.
Your Love Shines Brighter Than Ever
Your generosity has already touched thousands, but the need continues to grow. As we enter the Hanukkah season—a time when the light overcame the darkness—you have the opportunity to place that same miracle into the hands of a survivor or elderly Jew in need.
Your offering today will help us prepare and deliver urgently needed food boxes filled with daily essentials and holiday blessings. Through your compassion, we can ensure that these beloved seniors experience warmth, dignity, and the reassurance that they are cherished.
Be the Light This Hanukkah
