Delivering A Lifeline Of Hope For Elderly Jews

Each year, your support allows Larry Huch Ministries to deliver food to help fill the pantries and tables of hundreds of older Jews.
In the past few months,we raised funds to provide Rosh Hashanah food packages with items for this Holy holiday.

We are planning to provide additional food boxes this Hanukkah for many that may not be able to celebrate it otherwise.

SEASON OF CARE

This includes people like Marta. She made her aliyah to Israel from the former Soviet Union and originally settled in the southern town of Sderot.

Her meager community apartment was destroyed by a rocket fired from Gaza. Since she had no family, Marta had nowhere else to go.

Fortunately, she was able to find a small home for the elderly and Holocaust survivors.

“You are such a true blessing from heaven,” Marta exclaimed.

“I now know I will never be alone and won’t suffer anymore,” she continued.

LIFESAVING RESPONSE

With the threat of an all- out war against Hezbollah hanging overhead, Israel’s government has recently advised households to stock up with three days worth of food and water reserves.

For elderly Jews living on a small pension, this simple step is all but impossible.

Thankfully though, with your ongoing commitment, LHM is able to provide older Jewish people living in the Holy Land with food items that they need.

These boxes of nutritious fooditemsaredeliveredtotheir little living units, and for some, directly to their doorstep.

The tears of gratitude and smiles of thanks are among the greatest rewards we receive.

Be assured, you are helping bring these smiles and joyful tears to people reaching out for critical assistance.

UNITED OUTREACH

Meeting the needs of these elderly Jewish people and the Holocaust survivors is truly a privilege. Wethankyoufor each gift you send to make this good work possible.

Your Support Bringing Hope to IDF Soldiers

Thanks to your prayers and generosity, we have already placed twelve Mobile Intensive Care Unit (MICU) ambulances into service across Israel.
Israel’s Magen David Adom (MDA), their version of our Red Cross, uses these medical vehicles to tend to emergency events from terrorist attacks, and even births of newborns.
These ambulances are often referred to as “hospitals on wheels” due to the lifesaving emergency care they provide.
Each medical vehicle can save up to 10,000 or more lives throughout its long service.
Recently, many Jewish people were violently attacked without reason after leaving a soccer game in Amsterdam.

Five people were sent to the hospital, 20 to 30 suffered minor injuries, and several more were harassed.
