On a significant and heartfelt day in Washington D.C., Pastor Larry joined forces with the Israel Allies Foundation (IAF) to commemorate the historical 1967 event of Israel reclaiming Jerusalem, the Old City, and the Western Wall for the first time since 70 AD. Held on Capitol Hill, this Jerusalem Day event was a powerful testament to Israel’s enduring right to the Holy Land and its right to defend itself against threats like Hamas and other terrorist groups.
The event saw distinguished leaders from various spheres come together in solidarity. Congressman Brad Sherman, a long-standing Democratic member of the IAF caucus, passionately called for bipartisan support for Israel in Washington D.C. He urged his fellow Democrats to stand with Israel, highlighting the importance of this alliance.

IAF leader Josh Reinstein played a pivotal role, inspiring Christian, Jewish, and political leaders with his words of unity and support for Jerusalem Day. His presence underscored the deep-rooted connections and shared values among the diverse attendees.

Israel’s Minister of Diaspora Affairs, Amichai Chikli represented Israel at the event and acknowledged America’s relocation of their embassy to Jerusalem and called the U.S. “true friends”. His presence further emphasizedthe significance of global Jewish solidarity.

Congressman Ronny Jackson from Texas articulated the vital importance of American support for Israel, while Congresswoman Virginia Foxx reaffirmed her unwavering stand with Israel and the Jewish people.

Pastor Larry, as one of the featured speakers, delivered an inspiring speech emphasizing why America needs to stand firmly with Israel. He called on pastors, churches, synagogues, politicians, and government leaders to be vocal advocates for Israel and staunch opponents of Hamas and antisemitism.
Senator Ted Cruz, recognized as one of Israel’s strongest advocates on Capitol Hill, delivered a powerful speech that resonated deeply with attendees. He referenced the horrors of October 7th, condemning the hate and violence seen on that day. Senator Cruz declared that America should stand with Israel unequivocally until total victory is achieved, and he denounced the radical ideologies influencing pro-Hamas protests on campuses across the nation.

The Jerusalem Day event in Washington D.C. was a profound and stirring occasion, uniting leaders and citizens in a shared commitment to support Israel and uphold its right to self-defense and sovereignty. Psalm 137:5 was one of the main scriptures that various speakers and leaders cited.
“ If I forget you, O Jerusalem,
Let my right hand forget its skill!”— Psalm 137:5
This recurring theme reinforced the spiritual and historical importance of commemorating Jerusalem Day.
Our dear friend, Josh Reinstein, President of IAF summed it up perfectly, “…this gathering on Capitol Hill reaffirms the enduring bond between the United States and Israel. Today, we stand together against terrorism and hate and in support of peace and our shared Judeo-Christian values.”
We are honored that our ministry is called to stand with Israel and we charge our fellow Christians to join us in remembering, supporting, and praying for Israel.
