You Delivered Hope This Passover: A Lifeline of Love for Holocaust Survivors in Israel

Thanks to the heartfelt generosity of Larry Huch Ministries’ partners and friends like you, hundreds of elderly Jews and Holocaust survivors across Israel were able to celebrate Passover with the food and dignity they deserved.

A Season of Grateful Celebration

Because of your giving, this sacred holiday was not one of struggle, but one of renewed joy and hope. Through your Passover Food Box offerings, our outreach became a powerful expression of God’s love—bringing comfort to hearts that have known deep suffering.

Pastor Larry shared, “We began this vital project for several important reasons. First and foremost is the incredible significance of Passover in Jewish life. For over 3,000 years, Jewish families have celebrated this festival marking the birth of Israel as a nation—and they continue to do so with reverence and anticipation.”

Meeting Needs, Restoring Dignity

Many Holocaust survivors and elderly Jews face heartbreaking decisions every day—often choosing between food and basic utilities. But your support changed that reality.

The food boxes you provided were filled with essential items such as canned vegetables and fish, matzah, fresh produce, dairy, juice, cooking oil, and a heartfelt note of encouragement. These gifts met both physical and emotional needs—reminding each recipient that they are seen, valued, and not forgotten.

From Hardship to Hope: Mihael’s Story

Mihael and his beloved wife are Holocaust survivors who spent decades under Soviet oppression, forced to hide their Jewish identity. After making aliyah to Israel, Mihael worked as an electrician until his health declined.

For years, they endured cold winters without proper heating—so they could afford food. But now, thanks to your support, they live in an Amigour home for the elderly, which you helped make possible. They also receive food packages throughout the year—including during holy days like Passover, Rosh Hashanah, and Hanukkah.

“If it were not for you, we would not have food to eat,” Mihael said with deep emotion. “God bless you for caring. This food means so much to both of us.”

Your Generosity Changed Lives

Your gift this Passover season brought more than food—it brought dignity, joy, and spiritual connection to those who have endured so much. Because of your compassion, they experienced a holiday filled with hope, not hardship.

Thank you for continuing to stand with Israel’s most vulnerable. Your kindness reminded them they are not forgotten—and that love truly lives in every box you sent.

A Prophetic Encounter: Pastor Larry and Rabbi Yisrael Meir Lau Unite to Support Israel

During this amazing trip to Israel, Pastor Larry engaged in another meeting of a lifetime with Holocaust Survivor and renowned Rabbi Yisrael Meir Lau.
The Rebbe survived the Nazi imposed horrors of Buchenwald concentration camp as a young child, thanks to the efforts of his elder brother. After WWII, Rabbi Lau was able to make aliyah to Israel. Like his father before him, he pursued rabbinical studies. Eventually, Rabbi Lau rose to serve as the Ashkenazi Chief Rabbi of Tel Aviv and the Chairman of Yad Vashem Council.
