Your Faithfulness is Bringing Lifesaving Bomb Shelters to Israel

Strong bomb shelters are an essential part of the Jewish peoples’ lives in Israel.

They are truly often the very difference between life and death as rockets fall from the sky.

Israel’s Iron Dome can only do so much to stop the deadly attacks coming from Hezbollah, Hamas, and Iran.

LIFESAVING OUTREACH

Thankfully, Larry Huch Ministries—with your ongoing financial support—has now provided an additional mobile bomb shelter in Israel.

In the northern village of Meron, just a few miles from the Lebanon border, Pastor Larry Huch led the dedication ceremony and prayer over our newest mobile bomb shelter.

Located near a synagogue’s playground, this new shelter provides more protection from many ongoing Hezbollah attacks.

A day after the dedication, more than 70 rockets were fired toward Meron which highlights the need and impact of your faithful support for Israel and the Jewish people.

PROVIDING SAFETY

Many Jews living in Israel do not have a reinforced room or safe shelter in their homes or buildings due to the age of the structures.

When rocket sirens begin to wail, there are very few options to seek adequate shelter.

The mayor of Meron asked Pastor Larry to provide a larger, permanent bomb shelter near the schools to help alleviate this problem.

“It will save lives and be a great gift from Larry Huch Ministries to the beautiful children of Meron,” said the mayor.

Thanks to your faithful support, Pastor Larry knew in his heart he could say yes to this much-needed request.

This is a life-saving project for the kids and is now moving forward. It will be a permanent shelter that will also include electricity and bathroom.

“With each new mobile bomb shelter LHM provides, you are saving lives and reducing the number of those who are without adequate protection,” said Pastor Larry.

BLESSED SUPPORT

Please continue your support for additional mobile bomb shelters across the Holy Land.

In return, know that God will bless you for blessing Israel as He promises in Genesis 12:3.

A Beacon of Hope: The Cohen Family’s Story of Resilience

In times of unimaginable trauma, stories like the Cohen family’s remind us of the strength of the human spirit and the profound impact of compassion. Their journey highlights the hardships faced by families in Israel and the healing power of initiatives like the Fund for Victims of Terrorism, supported by Keren Hayesod. This story is not only about enduring hardship but about finding hope and healing through community and faith.

Five years ago, during Sukkot 2019, Revital and Eli Cohen of Beersheba embarked on what was meant to be a joyful family outing to Jerusalem with their three youngest children—Talia, 6; Hodaya, 4; and Yagel, 1.5. Their first stop was the Western Wall, a sacred site for reflection and prayer. Tragically, a wrong turn led them into the neighboring village of Silwan, where they found themselves surrounded by an angry crowd. The mob pelted their car with rocks, shattering windows and damaging the vehicle. Though they miraculously escaped without physical injuries, the psychological wounds ran deep.
