Your Support Bringing Hope to IDF Soldiers

The victims of Oct 7 are vast and extensive. We know about and see the stories that involve families and children. But there is one group of individuals that seldom makes the news or comes up in any story line. These men and women are the soldiers of the Israel Defense Forces.

DEEPLY FELT NEED

Now some sixteen months since that horrific breach of peace and invasion of the Holy Land, these stalwart military personnel are revealing some of the deep scars of fighting in Gaza and along the Lebanese and Syrian borders.

That’s why Larry Huch Ministries and our Israeli partner Keren Hayesod are stepping
forward to provide care and compassion for these individuals. From time to time, these men and women in uniform are permitted to return home forrest and relaxation.

However the mind, soul, and spirit don’t always return with them. They stay on the battlefield. That’s where our newest program comes in to ease the crossover and to carryout a semblance of normalcy inside a sea of conflict and turmoil. Some 220,000 men and women soldiers have already participated in the Hamas/ Hezbollah war.

Of this number, it is estimated over 40,000 suffer from trauma. This number is fully
expected to rise monthly.

HAND OF COMPASSION

Our new project is making a difference for these fighters. Your gifts, and prayers, for
these soldiers make it possible for LHM to reach out and lend a hand of calmness and recovery for these brave IDF soldiers and Syrian borders.

Your Support Bringing Hope to IDF Soldiers

Larry Huch Ministries is now in a partnership with Keren Hayesod to launch a vital program in support of the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) soldiers’ mental health needs.

Our initiative is providing essential care and support, which helps them to find stability amid chaos. Studies indicate that nearly 40% of all battle-wounded soldiers will face some mental health challenges, making this mission increasingly important.

UNSEEN BATTLE WOUNDS

With over 220,000 soldiers engaged in the conflict against Hamas and Hezbollah, an
estimated 40,000 are already showing signs of trauma—a number expected to climb.

These warriors have faced physical dangers as well as the devastating emotional impact of their experiences.

“The war [in Gaza] was so different. How can you put your children to bed when you
saw children killed in Gaza?” confides one IDF soldier. His statement echoes the profound trauma experienced by thousands of these brave Israel defenders.

MENTAL ANGUISH

Over a year after the October 7 attacks, the psychological toll on these brave men and women continues to mount.

These heroes are someone’s child, parent, and sibling. Through your prayers and
generous support, you help ensure that they do not face these struggles alone.
Your gifts provide healing and hope to those who have sacrificed so much defending their homeland.

Together, we bring light to their darkest moments.

Your Support Bringing Hope to IDF Soldiers

Thanks to your prayers and generosity, we have already placed twelve Mobile Intensive Care Unit (MICU) ambulances into service across Israel.
Israel’s Magen David Adom (MDA), their version of our Red Cross, uses these medical vehicles to tend to emergency events from terrorist attacks, and even births of newborns.
These ambulances are often referred to as “hospitals on wheels” due to the lifesaving emergency care they provide.
Each medical vehicle can save up to 10,000 or more lives throughout its long service.
Recently, many Jewish people were violently attacked without reason after leaving a soccer game in Amsterdam.

Five people were sent to the hospital, 20 to 30 suffered minor injuries, and several more were harassed.
