Saving lives in israel
mobile ICU Ambulances
On my first trip to Israel about 25 years ago my wife, Tiz, and I fell in love with Israel and the Jewish people. It was a life-changing experience that led us to teach the Jewish roots of Christianity and to stand with Israel politically and charitably.
help saves lives in Israel!
Israel’s version of the Red Cross, Magen David Adom (MDA) is the frontline in emergency rescue with Mobile ICU ambulances, blood-services and disaster relief.
We not only believe our partnership with MDA provides a perfect opportunity to help save thousands of lives, but it also provides us a practical way to show our love and support to God’s chosen people.
This relationship we’ve built sends a statement to the world that we are tearing down the walls of division between Christians and Jews. It is repairing a 2,000-year-old breach by promoting a spirit of unity and friendship.
Right now, they desperately need your help. Each year over 100 ambulances have to be replaced due to the number of miles they travel, their 8-10 year lifespan, and daily wear and tear.
MICU vehicles are true hospitals on wheels as they contain vital instruments and medical supplies that are needed to treat, stabilize, and transport patients to local hospitals.
You, my friend and partner, have helped place six MICU’s on the ground in Israel and provided for a seventh that is currently being built.
Today, I invite you to help us fund our eighth MICU to provide lifesaving treatment to even more needy Israelis. These bright yellow Mobile Intensive Care Units to treat the most severely injured and ill patients throughout the Nation of Israel.
In addition to providing ambulances for Israel, LHM is proud to become a sponsor of a brand-new lifesaving initiative.
As we collaborate with MDA and cities across Israel, we are helping sponsor the purchase and installation of defibrillator kiosks placed around the entire nation.
With the help of LHM partners like you, we can make the difference between life and death, especially when seconds count.
When a person has a sudden heart attack— and every minute is crucial—a defibrillator provides critical time until the MDA rescue team arrives.
Each defibrillator kiosk is connected to an Emergency Dispatch Center that is alerted once the box is removed. It creates an electric current as needed, dictates the rate of resuscitation, and provides clear voice and visual operating instructions, in Hebrew and in other languages for those on site.
Will you join us today in making these defibrillator kiosks and an eighth ambulance possible?

Israel Ambulance Project:
“Saving Lives Every Day in Israel”
Here’s a story of how one of these MICU ambulances recently saved a life in Israel.
Two young soldiers, Yuval Appel, and Yarin Eshcenazi were on patrol near the Zehelim Military Base when a white car suddenly accelerated and veered toward them — striking Yarin head-on. Yuval was also knocked to the ground. When the terrorist jumped out of his car to continue his attack, Yuval was able to use his sidearm to neutralize him.
MDA paramedic Yair Schussheim arrived minutes later in a MICU ambulance. He found Yarin on the ground unconscious, with extensive blood on his face and his chest, so Yair and his team loaded Yarin onto the MICU. His injuries were so extreme that Yair feared he would not survive. His throat was filled with blood and teeth and he could not take a breath. Yair ventilated him and opened two IV lines. “Push the gas,” Yair told the driver. “Drive 140 and don’t stop!” He called ahead to alert the doctors and worked furiously to keep Yarin alive until they arrived at the trauma center. A week later, Yarin woke up in a bed at Hadassah Ein Kerem hospital. The doctors are optimistic his prospects for full recovery are good.
How you can instantly begin to
God has promised that your acts of righteousness — your acts of charity — have the power to protect you from harm and prolong your life.
Proverbs 11:4 says, “Riches do not profit in the day of wrath, But righteousness delivers from death.” So God is giving you opportunities to be a blessing, to save someone’s life — and when you save a life, you will also be saved.
Each MICU ambulance will help save thousands of lives in Israel over the coming years — and God will see your act of faith.
When we “seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness (charity),” the Lord promises us, “all these other things shall be added to you” (Matthew 6:33)
You and I can help make a difference right now. Together we have an amazing opportunity to provide Israel with another new MICU ambulance. It’s an opportunity God has given us to help save more lives in Israel.
