When Pastor Larry boarded his flight to Israel for what would be his 50th trip—his Jubilee journey—he knew it would be special. But no one could have anticipated just how prophetic this trip would become.
The visit coincided with two powerful moments in history: the celebration of Sukkot, the Feast of Tabernacles, and the long-awaited release of the hostages held in Gaza. What began as a time of ministry quickly turned into a divine appointment, orchestrated by God’s perfect timing.
Standing in the land where biblical prophecy unfolds, Pastor Larry witnessed firsthand the answers to countless prayers—and the impact of your faithful giving and intercession.
Joseph’s Tomb: A Covenant Remembered
One of the first stops of the trip was Joseph’s Tomb in the heart of Samaria, a region rich with covenant history. This is where Abraham heard the voice of God, where God promised, “I will bless those who bless you,” and where Joseph’s bones were laid to rest as a testimony of faith.
Pastor Larry shared,
“This isn’t the West Bank—this is Judea and Samaria. Not because we say it, but because Almighty God has said it.”
Surrounded by Israeli soldiers for protection, Pastor Larry and the team joined Governor Yossi Dagan and other local leaders to pray for the hostages and for peace. It was the seventh night of Sukkot—a night of miracles—and as they prayed, the connection between heaven and earth could almost be felt in the air.
“Our prayer from Joseph’s Tomb,” Pastor Larry declared, “is that the miracle of Sukkot will come from this place into your life.”
A Prophetic Conversation: Interview with CBN Jerusalem Dateline
Next, Pastor Larry joined Chris Mitchell of CBN News Jerusalem Dateline for a television interview focused on the peace breakthrough, the spiritual significance of this moment, and the rising tide of antisemitism sweeping the world.
He spoke candidly about why Christians cannot remain silent:
“This is a defining moment in history. As believers, we must not be neutral when it comes to Israel. God’s Word makes it clear—we are called to bless and defend His people.”
Through platforms like CBN, Larry Huch Ministries continues to be a global voice of truth, countering lies and misinformation with biblical conviction and compassion.
A Miracle in Motion: The Hostage Release and the LHM Mobile ICU
Perhaps the most emotional moment of the entire trip came with the announcement of the hostage release—an answered prayer years in the making.
Incredibly, one of the mobile ICU ambulances sponsored by Larry Huch Ministries and New Beginnings Churchwas used to transport and provide emergency medical care for the freed hostages.
It was a deeply moving sight to see our ambulance—funded by your generosity—become a literal vehicle of healing and restoration at such a historic moment.
Pastor Larry said,
“This is why we go, why we give, and why we stand. Every gift makes a difference. Every act of love fulfills prophecy.”
At the Western Wall: Interceding for You
At the Western Wall, one of the holiest sites in all of Israel, Pastor Larry paused to pray for our church family, partners, and friends around the world.
He prayed for:
- An outpouring of divine grace
- Healing and restoration in every home
- Financial breakthroughs and supernatural favor
- Salvation and deliverance for loved ones
As the prayers of Sukkot echoed through Jerusalem, Pastor Larry declared over you,
“This coming year will be your best year yet. God’s blessings are being poured out in double measure!”
Partnering with Keren Hayesod: Blessing Israel’s Families
During the trip, Pastor Larry and our LHM team met with leaders from Keren Hayesod, Israel’s oldest and most respected humanitarian organization. Through this partnership, we help provide aid to Holocaust survivors, new immigrants, and families in crisis—people who represent the heart of modern-day Israel.
Each meeting was a reminder that our work is not abstract—it is personal. These are real lives being changed through your faithfulness.
Healing the Brokenhearted: Helping PTSD Victims
One visit took the team to meet a mother and daughter still reeling from the trauma of the October 7th Hamas attacks. The daughter, suffering from severe PTSD, was struggling to find peace amid the chaos.
Because of your generosity, Larry Huch Ministries was able to fund specialized therapy and emotional care for her recovery. This is the gospel in action—comforting those who mourn and restoring hope where fear once ruled.
Dedication of a New Military Ambulance
Near the Gaza border, Pastor Larry joined Israeli military medics to dedicate a newly donated military ambulance—funded entirely by one of our faithful LHM partners.
Already in active service, this ambulance and its courageous crew risk their lives to rescue soldiers injured in battle. Pastor Larry prayed over the vehicle and its team, asking for divine protection and strength as they continue their dangerous missions.
It was a powerful moment of unity—Christians and Jews standing together to save lives in the land God promised.
The Car Wall Memorial: A Sobering Reminder
Among hundreds of burned-out vehicles—each one a silent testimony to the brutality of October 7—Pastor Larry stood in solemn reflection.
Known as the Car Wall Memorial, this haunting site honors those who were mercilessly murdered during the largest terror attack in modern Israeli history. Each car tells a story of courage, loss, and resilience.
In the shadow of such devastation, Pastor Larry reaffirmed what drives our mission:
“We will not turn away. We will not be silent. We will stand with Israel.”
Building Bomb Shelters: Protecting the Next Generation
Hope rises again where fear once lived.
At a kindergarten near the northern border, Pastor Larry cut the ribbon on a brand-new bomb shelter—constructed through your faithful giving.
Before this, children had only seconds to find cover when rockets were launched from Lebanon. Now, they can take refuge within a shelter directly connected to their classroom.
He also visited another newly completed shelter at an elementary school—each one a tangible sign of God’s protection and your generosity.
These structures don’t just protect lives—they represent a promise: that faith, love, and unity are stronger than fear and destruction.
A Voice in the Knesset: Standing Against Antisemitism
The trip culminated at a Knesset reception hosted by the Israel Allies Foundation, celebrating faith-based diplomacy and the release of the final 20 hostages under President Trump’s peace proposal.
Pastor Larry was among the distinguished speakers, sharing the importance of Christian solidarity with Israel and urging believers to take a stand against antisemitism worldwide.
He also met with former U.S. Ambassador to Israel David Friedman, discussing the ongoing prophetic significance of this season and how unity between Christians and Jews is vital for the future.
It was a fitting conclusion to a trip marked by prayer, prophecy, and partnership—proof that what we do together is changing history.
