Day 4: Wholehearted Love in Action
‘And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.’
– Romans 8:28
Romans 8:28 promises that all things work together for good, but there’s a crucial condition: ‘to those who love God and who are called according to his purpose.’ Real love for God isn’t just warm feelings or Sunday attendance – it’s demonstrated through consistent action. Coming to church once every six weeks is called lukewarm. True love shows up faithfully, gives generously, serves actively, and witnesses boldly. When you love God wholeheartedly, you position yourself to receive His promises. Your devotion creates the foundation for His intervention. This isn’t about earning God’s love – you already have that. It’s about aligning yourself with His purposes so He can work all things together for your good. Ask yourself honestly: does your lifestyle reflect genuine love for God? Are you called according to His purpose, or are you living according to your own agenda?
Reflection :
Is the world a better place today than it was this time last year because of you?
“You don’t really love God. If you come to church once every six weeks, that’s called lukewarm.”
Prayer :
God, help me love You with my whole heart through my actions, not just my words. Align my life with Your purposes.
