God Really Does Work All Things Together For Good
One friend in Jerusalem shared with The Huchs that he felt God allowed them to experience what they did because when they finally arrived on the other side of the journey, their story would help others as they walked through their health, financial, family, relationship, or other traumas, challenges, and difficulties. Let’s be clear. We do NOT believe God caused the cancers, but we know beyond the shadow of a doubt that thousands upon thousands have already been encouraged by their story. God really does work all things together for His good as it says in Romans 8:28.
We live in a fallen world and are constantly surrounded by the attacks of the enemy, whose purposes are only to steal, kill, and destroy. However, we can resist his attacks and be victorious over his relentless plans and strategies. We do not belong to him. We have a covenant with God, who has equipped us with powerful, supernatural weapons. They have always been important but are especially critical during these last days. Ephesians 6:10 says, “Finally my brethren, be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might.” Our fight is not against people. It is with evil, spiritual, demonic forces. The Apostle Paul says, “We wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, powers, and forces of wickedness in high places.” Even though the battle is fierce, you and I can stay strong, take our position, and stand, as we “put on the full armor of God, so that we can withstand in this evil day.”
Keep an Eye Out for the Ambush
There is a reason that God tells us, “Be sober be vigilant for the devil prowls around like a roaring lion seeking whom he may devour” (1 Peter 5:8). The devil isn’t walking around with a pitchfork announcing his arrival. No, we know sometimes he disguises himself as an angel of light. Satan who is the destroyer, who comes to steal, kill, and destroy, has an ambush waiting for you. He may attack you in some area of your life tomorrow or the next day. The question is not if but when? The Bible says in Isaiah 54:7 that no weapon formed against us shall prosper assuring that we have the upper hand. Do you have your armor on? Are you ready to stand, and do all to stand against his plans, strategies, and what the Word calls, “wiles.”
God Has Equipped You For Victory
God knew that we would be in battle and what we would be up against. Pastor Larry often says that God did not tell us to put on a tutu and dance through the tulips. No! Instead, He told us to prepare to put on the armor He gave us – the helmet of salvation, breastplate of righteousness, belt of truth, shoes of peace, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the Word of God. No matter what kind of battle you and I are in, God has already equipped us for total victory. Your circumstances may be different from the ones that others have faced, but His armor and supernatural natural weapons still work the same – every time and over everything. Just like you, we know what it is like to feel alone and exhausted, in the trenches and in the heat of battle.
Be strong in the Lord and in the power of his might. Be strong in the Lord. Now is the time. We are closer to the Rapture and the return of Jesus than we have ever been. This is the time. We have to be ready. One of the most powerful ways to do that is to daily dress for battle. We would all think it absurd for any soldier to go into war naked and without weapons. Yet many of us do just that. We must choose daily to put on the whole armor of God. Why? So you and I will be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.
Only You Can Put On God’s Armor
We want and need you to understand something. It’s critical. You have to put on the armor of God. No one can do it for you. If you are married, your husband or wife can’t do it for you. Your friends can’t do it for you. When our children are little, we dressed them, but as they get older, they have to do it themselves. I know it sounds simple, but many of you aren’t equipped for the battles you are facing because you don’t have your armor on. It could also be contributing to your feelings of worry instead of peace, and anxiety instead of joy. God’s desire and our desire for you too is that you would walk in health, live in blessing, and fulfill all that God has for you during these times.
If You Are A Believer— Your Are In A Spiritual Battle
Pastor Larry shared a little about spiritual battles.
“I got saved in Flagstaff, Arizona. I had only been a believer for a few weeks when some of my friends called. They were coming into town and wanted to see me. They were still dealing drugs. I hadn’t been out of that business that long myself. I knew there was an ambush coming. Men, when a young woman starts to flirt with you and you’re married, it’s an ambush. Ladies, when the great-looking married guy starts looking at you and making his move, you can bet it’s an ambush. If the teller at the bank puts an extra hundred dollars in your withdrawal, it’s not a blessing, it’s an ambush. That’s why the Word of God tells us to put on the full armor of God. You have an enemy. You’re in a spiritual war. You aren’t fighting against flesh and blood, but against principalities, powers, and forces of darkness in high places. Does the devil use people? Sure. He’ll bring someone along to tempt, offend, make you angry, or hurt you so that he has the advantage. The devil won’t use something that hasn’t been a problem or a weakness for you before. Don’t let him get the upper hand.”
Somebody’s Going To Win The Battle – It Better Be You!
Somebody’s going to win the battle. It’s going to be you, if you have your armor on, standing on God’s Word, and exercising your authority. God says you are more than a conqueror! God has equipped you to stand in the evil day. So put your armor on, not just once a year, every six months, once a month, or every couple of weeks. Put it on daily. Better yet, don’t take it off. If you have a lawn, you know that you can’t just put weed killer and fertilizer on once a year. Weeds grow automatically. You have to keep an eye out and make sure they don’t come back. As you keep your armor on, you’ll be able to stand in the evil day. How many of you want to be strong and stand through the attacks? You can and you will as you put on every part of the armor of God.
Fighting the Battle in Your Mind
The first thing you must remember is to keep your armor on. The next thing in spiritual warfare is that most battles start in the mind. You must cast down your imaginations and replace the enemy’s thoughts with God’s Word and promises. Understanding, knowing, and making His truth your own brings victory. Next, you must put a guard on your mouth. Speak what God says about your circumstances despite what you see. We know that is seldom easy. Pastor Larry shared how he would never forget what happened when they got the news about Lion. Friends, their staff, and a group of intercessors had been praying. They completely expected a good report when they arrived at the hospital. They were standing with their son Luke, and daughter-in-law Jen, when the doctors told them their grandson had a rare form of leukemia, they had to decide immediately whose report they would believe – theirs or God’s. Although the hospital staff provided us with amazing care, they had a medical, not spiritual perspective. They gave Lion little chance of survival. But they did not focus on the natural, they knew the power in God’s Word. What Satan meant for evil, God would turn for good. They were certain of it. They consciously chose the truth of His Word. They put their armor on, cast down evil imaginations, and put a guard over their mouths. They stood united, prayed, and expected Lion’s total recovery. Today he is five years old, cancer-free, and enjoying life.
You Have Weapons to Defeat Satan’s Three-Fold Strategy
If you are on the Earth, and a child of God, Satan is going to attack you with his three-fold agenda to steal, kill, and destroy. You have a covenant with God in the blood of Jesus, the authority of His name, and are equipped for victory. You have access to supernatural weapons that are mighty in God to pull down strongholds, whatever they are. Pastors Larry and Tiz explain in their latest book that they used everything God had given them as they stood for Lion and Tiz’s miraculous recoveries. They share how they learned to walk through to victory, stand for the breakthrough, and live in miracles by the moment acting on their faith every step of the way.
Their grandson, Lion, was in the hospital for 50 days. Pastors Larry and Tiz were there 40 of those days. Every day before they left his room, they would anoint him with oil. Then all of them would stand under the tallit and pray. It was not a ritual they were doing. It was a revelation they were acting on. They were in the shadow of the Almighty. When they prayed under the tallit there was no room for doubt or unbelief. It was like they were saying, “God, when we do this in the natural, we believe you’re going to do something in the supernatural.”
Take Control of Your Mind – The Command Center for Everything
Pastor Tiz shared about using all the supernatural weapons of our warfare and she found that of all the pieces of the armor, the helmet of salvation, was the most critical in so many ways. This is because it covers our mind, imagination, thoughts, and brain. The brain is the command center of everything. To be victorious in our day-to-day battles, we must take our position, cast down imaginations, take thoughts captive, replace them with God’s Words, believe them to be true, and stand. After her devastating diagnosis of Stage 4 ovarian cancer, with three months to live, Tiz had to immediately take control of her thoughts.
Daily she would read, and say aloud, 100 healing scriptures. Instead of allowing her mind to be flooded with evil thoughts, doubts, and discouragement from the enemy, she focused on God’s truth and promises. She devoured them. She saturated her mind with them. She knew nothing was impossible with God. Aligning her thoughts with God’s Truth was part of her miracle. Did you know that every person has 12 to 60 thousand thoughts a day? Of those, 80 to 90 percent are negative, not positive. You may have bad days; however, you must choose to counterattack those negative thoughts with God’s Word and truth. You cannot focus on what the doctor says, the news reports, the statistics record, or even what you see. You must change your thinking.
Nothing is Impossible with God – Not One Thing!
No matter what is going on in your life right now, you are not going under. You are going over. You are about to break through to victory. Your miracle is about to become a full recovery of your health, restoration of your marriage, salvation for your children, more than enough finances, and the best year of your life. There is nothing God cannot do! Nothing is impossible with God!
We want you to know we are praying right now for you. We are standing in agreement with you for your circumstances to change, your breakthrough to come, and your full recovery physically, mentally, relationally, and financially to happen quickly. Receive this prayer right now.
Father, you know what each person has been dealing with. You have already worked out the solution, answer, and the miracles they need. You have given them Your truth, Word, promises, full armor, and supernatural weapons so that they can experience victory in every area of their life. We speak life into their hearts, minds, soul, body, and futures, in the mighty name of Jesus. Amen.
Now, take your position and then take comfort in Jesus’ words, “These things I have spoken to you, that in Me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation, but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world.” –John 16:33
