FALSE NARRATIVES FUEL ANTI-SEMITISM
Denial and ignorance are now adding to the continued rise of anti-Semitism across the globe; including in Israel. “In a time of ‘relative truth,’ some portray the people of Israel as foreigners in the Land of Israel,” said Israel’s Diaspora Affairs Minister. “Our ancestors knew there would come a day when there would be those who would claim we have no connection or right to Jerusalem. “However, I don’t think they could have fully imagined the depths of absurdity that we see today,” he continued.
IT’S HAPPENING NOW
Hamas is running an enormous propaganda initiative against Jews. One instance involves a terrorist organization that launched rockets towards Israel claiming the lives of several innocent people. When one of their missiles landed in close proximity to a hospital in Gaza and ignited– Hamas claimed Israel was responsible. Despite the fact that numerous government officials have viewed footage demonstrating the failure of a Hamas projectile, Muslim citizens around the world are engaging in violent protests against Israel. Hamas is currently disseminating false information globally and you need to know the truth.
THE LIES CONTINUE
The false narratives claim that Jews have no right to this small, but significant, land. The lie began with the angry debate over Israel’s borders. The Jewish people have been condemned by many of their enemies for building on Israeli land or defending their borders. The most important thing LHM is countering is that the Jewish people are falsely deemed ‘occupiers’. They’re not occupiers. The land was not only given to the Jewish people by politicians – by the San Remo [Conference], by Balfour – but it was given to the Jewish people by God. Historical facts as well as the Word of God are the best and most powerful weapons to defuse these false claims and ongoing harassment. However, many of Israel’s enemies are working to dispute these century-known accuracies. Again, you need to know the truth.
DANGEROUS TIMES
