Recovery After the War: Healing the Heart of Israel

The guns may have gone silent, but the battle within the hearts and minds of Israel’s children and soldiers is far from over.

Even as peace returns to the land, deep scars remain. Families are still grieving. Soldiers are still struggling to sleep. And children—those who have seen too much—are still fighting the unseen war within.

Through your faithful prayers and generosity, Larry Huch Ministries continues to bring hope and healing to the people of Israel. Together, we are helping restore the soul of a nation.

Restoring Joy to Israel’s Children

This past summer, hundreds of boys and girls who had lived through months of fear and rocket attacks were able to attend a special day camp made possible by friends like you.

Many arrived anxious, withdrawn, and fearful—but through the loving care and trauma counseling provided, they began to smile, play, and dream again.

One counselor shared this heartfelt message:

“Thanks to your generosity and support, we are here [at camp] with more than two hundred children who suffer from post-traumatic stress. This day camp gives them the opportunity to recover, to treat their souls, and to have some fun. Thank you very much.”

Now, as Israel rebuilds after the war, these programs are more important than ever. With your help, we are continuing to provide counseling and emotional care for the children who must now learn to live again.

Restoring Strength to Israel’s Soldiers

While the fighting has ceased, the emotional battle continues for Israel’s brave defenders. Many soldiers who returned home from the front lines are now facing invisible wounds—PTSD, anxiety, and depression that do not end when the war does.

Through your partnership with LHM and Keren Hayesod’s Shavim program, reserve soldiers are receiving early and effective trauma care. This groundbreaking initiative helps them regain balance, reconnect with their families, and find purpose in life after war.

Because of your generosity, these men and women are discovering that they are not forgotten—and not alone.

Peace Has Come, But Healing Takes Time

True peace is not only the absence of war—it’s the restoration of hearts. That’s what your continued support is helping to accomplish across Israel.

Every camp for children… every counseling session for soldiers… every moment of comfort and renewal is made possible by compassionate friends like you who refuse to turn away when the headlines fade.

As Pastor Larry often says, “God calls us not just to stand with Israel during crisis—but to help rebuild her future in peace.”

Now Is the Time to Help Heal Israel’s Heart

The ceasefire has ended the fighting, but the healing journey has just begun. You can help Israel’s children laugh again… and help her soldiers find strength again.

Now more than ever, as Israel faces great trials, your partnership matters. Join Pastors Larry and Tiz in continuing this vital mission. Together, we can bless Israel, bring comfort to God’s people, and prepare the world for the coming of the Messiah.
