Uniting Faith and Government: How Larry Huch Ministries Is Advancing Pro-Israel Advocacy

This includes a major LHM event with over 300 rabbis and pastors in Washington, D.C., at IAF’s annual reception celebrating Israel’s Advocacy Day and Independence Day.

GLOBAL PARTNERSHIP

In attendance were members of the Congressional Israel Allies Caucus and more than 100 members of Congress. It emphasized US support for Israel amid the ongoing Israel-Hamas war, the Iranian nuclear threat, and growing anti-Semitism worldwide. “Faith-based diplomacy as well as Christian support for Israel are turning the tide,” said Yechiel Leiter, Israel’s Ambassador to the US. Mr. Leiter, shown above, and with Pastor Larry, emphasized the need to address urgent concerns, including the Iranian nuclear threat, rising anti-Semitism, Hamas rule in Gaza, and Israeli hostage releases.

Just last week, we were back in Washington D.C., where we taped for TV denouncing the murder of the beautiful young couple who worked at the Israeli embassy, on fighting antisemitism, the importance of Christians standing with Israel, and our work with IAF, faith-based diplomacy, and being Israel’s Iron Dome.  Not long after an antisemitic firebomb attack on a pro-Israel peaceful gathering to stand for hostages injured around 15 people in Colorado. Among those injured was an 88-year-old Holocaust survivor. Alarmingly, the Anti-Defamation League (ADL) reports a 344% increase in antisemitic incidents in the U.S. over the past five years and an 893% increase over the past 10 years. The increase is alarming, and we must do our part.

This is why we do all that we do. We also visited Capitol Hill celebrating Jerusalem Day and showing our strong support for Israel and the Jewish people. Christians need to understand that God gave Jerusalem and all of Israel to the Jewish people beginning with Abraham in Genesis 12, some 4,000 years ago.

We connected with Senator Ted Cruz of Texas in our support of Israel and against antisemitism.  Standing with Israel is one of the few remaining bipartisan issues left. But it’s not a Republican or Democratic issue. It’s an important American issue and a Bible issue or Biblical citizenship issue, and that’s true now more than ever.
