Your Story is Turning Around: A Purim Devotional – Day 2

Day 2: The Enemy's Fear of Your Destiny

‘For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.’

– John 3:16

Why do bad things happen to good people? Why do spiritual attacks come seemingly out of nowhere? Here’s a truth that will change your perspective: the enemy only attacks what threatens him. Like Haman’s irrational hatred toward Mordecai and the Jewish people, spiritual opposition often reveals the magnitude of your destiny. The devil doesn’t waste time on people who pose no threat to his kingdom. Your struggles, setbacks, and spiritual battles are actually evidence that you carry something powerful – a destiny of blessing that terrifies the enemy. When you understand this, you can face opposition with confidence rather than confusion. Every attack is confirmation that you’re on the right path. Every obstacle is proof that breakthrough is coming. Don’t let temporary troubles make you forget your eternal purpose.

Reflection :

How might viewing your current challenges as evidence of your valuable destiny change your response to them?

“The only reason the devil attacks you is because he is afraid of your destiny. It’s a destiny of blessing.”

Prayer :

God, help me see my battles as confirmation of my calling. Give me courage to press forward knowing You have great plans for me.
