Day 3: Called for Such a Time as This
‘And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.’
– Romans 8:28
Mordecai’s words to Esther ring through the ages: you were born ‘for such a time as this.’ But there’s a sobering reality we often miss – if you don’t stand up, don’t think you’ll survive. Neutrality isn’t an option in spiritual warfare. You’re either on God’s side or you’re not. This isn’t about perfection; it’s about position. Are you proud to be a Christian? Do your coworkers know where you stand? Does your lifestyle reflect your faith? God has placed you in your specific job, neighborhood, and relationships for a divine purpose. You have a unique calling to practice ‘tikkun olam’ – making the world better through your gifts and influence. The question isn’t whether you’re qualified for your calling, but whether you’re willing to step up when it matters most. Your moment of destiny may look different than you expected, but it’s coming.
Reflection :
If you were arrested for being a Christian, would there be enough evidence to find you guilty?
“It’s time for every one of us to come out of the closet, so to speak, and let everybody at work and everybody at school and everywhere we go that we are born again Christians.”
Prayer :
Lord, give me boldness to stand for You in every situation. Help me embrace my calling with courage and conviction.
