Day 12 – 40 Days of the Shofar

The traditional blessing as you blow the shofar is, “Blessed are You oh Lord …who commanded us to hear the voice of the shofar.” Notice it’s not ‘who commanded us to blow the shofar.’ The heart of this teaching, is the blessing comes when we hear the sound of the shofar and it resonates in us. This will reconnect us spiritually to everything God is saying and calling us to do.

Day 11 – 40 Days of the Shofar

The Lord wants us to take these 40 days to examine our priorities — spiritually and financially. Each day as we hear the shofar, we have a fresh opportunity to examine our hearts. Let’s return to our first love by making sure we are putting God first.

Two More Ambulances Now Saving Lives In Israel

On Pastor Larry Huch’s and the LHM team’s recent trip to Israel, they participated in the dedication of our third military ambulance.
This highly specialized medical unit provides life- saving care to Israel Defense Force (IDF) soldiers as well as to civilians of every nationality or religion across the Holy Land.
One of LHM’s sponsored military ambulances was the first emergency vehicle to go into Gaza and help rescue hostages from the October attacks.

Day 8 – 40 Days of the Shofar

The Lord designates this as a “due season” of judgment and reward. The daily blowing of the shofar represents God’s alarm clock to wake us up from any spiritual sleep or slumber. In His great love and mercy He sounds an alarm so we are not caught unaware and miss the abundant blessing about to happen. One of the traditional sounds is 9 quick blasts in short succession (Teruah) — which resembles an alarm.

Day 7 – 40 Days of the Shofar

Right now we’re entering into the season of the shofar. The shofar is God’s spiritual alarm clock! It’s the time of year when God’s power and presence are working to draw us back to Him. He wakes us up to spiritual opportunities and reminds us to get back to accomplishing His agenda.
